Zululand Tree Lodge is positioned in a beautiful and leafy setting, with excellent views of the forest and a waterhole from the lodge.

The main lodge is made up of a quiet lounge and sunny deck area with a swimming pool. There is also an observation deck where you can watch the animals come to drink from the waterhole in front of the lodge.

Situated in the Ubizane Wildlife Reserve, there is an abundance of wildlife in the area. White rhino, giraffe, wildbeest and antelope are all resident in the area, as well as over 350 species of bird.

Go on early morning and late afternoon game drives, when the animals are out and about in the cooler hours of the day. An exciting way to view the game is on horseback safari. Walking safaris with an experienced ranger are also a great way to explore the area and view the wildlife.

Zululand Tree Lodge is situated in the Ubizane Wildlife Reserve near Hluhluwe, KwaZulu Natal.

A delicious breakfast buffet of traditional and local dishes is served. Locally grown fresh fruits, yoghurts, health cereals and the usual warm dishes are available.

Lunch is usually an informal affair, where you can enjoy a light snack in your room or by the pool.

Dinner is served in the outdoor boma, with a log fire creating a romantic bush atmosphere. Dinner consists of a buffet made up of various pan-African dishes.

Accommodation at Zululand Tree Lodge is in 24 thatched chalets, raised off the ground in stilts. The rooms all have large balconies overlooking the forest and waterholes, and are comfortably equipped with en-suite bathrooms and mini bars.
