Rocktail Beach Camp's comfortable accommodation is located near an incredibly beautiful and remote beach, where your footprints are likely to be the only ones. Tucked away in a coastal forest, you're sure to see a variety of bird species from the private balcony of your tented suite.

Socialise around the large swimming pool which is located in the main area of the camp, or catch a regular shuttle to the golden beach nearby. If you're feeling adventurous, explore the lush forest on one of the various forest walks which lead down to the shore.

Rocktail Dive Centre lies adjacent to the camp enabling you to experience excellent scuba-diving and snorkelling, where you're likely to spot whale sharks, turtles and manta rays.

Enjoy one of the various excursions that this area has to offer, including a visit to Black Rock, a 60-foot fossilised sand dune. Or a cultural visit to a sangoma (traditional herbalist) for an authentic African experience.

Rocktail Beach Camp offers delicious buffet meals served on a large wrap-around veranda, weather permitting. Enjoy socialising in the central dining room and bar where you can relax after a busy day.

Packed lunches will be provided for you during midday excursions, ensuring that your dining experience is one which is convenient as well as tasty.

Rocktail Beach Camp has 17 tented rooms with hardwood floors and glass sliding doors opening onto a wrap-around balcony - a great spot to read a book or flip through a magazine, surrounded by the sounds of birds in the forest.

Families can stay in the 2-bedroomed tented suites, and there is also a honeymoon suite perched higher up the dunes - with wonderful views over the coastal forest to the ocean beyond.

All of the rooms are en suite, with the canvas walls creating an open-feel to the indoor shower.
