nThambo Tree Camp is a small intimate camp located in Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger Area, and shares unfenced borders with the famous Kruger National Park- home to the Big 5.

The camp has comfortable guest areas for you to relax and enjoy the beautiful bush views. There is an outdoor lounge and dining area, under thatch, that offers views of the plains and small waterhole in front of the camp, as well as the Drakensberg mountain range in the distance. There is also a traditional boma area where you can enjoy a roaring fire in the evenings to complete your African bush experience.

Enjoy thrilling game drives led by professional and experienced guides through a wildlife area rich in game including lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo as well as hyena, hippo, giraffe, zebra and a whole host of other wildlife. Bush walks and night drives are also on offer, allowing you to experience the best and most diverse game viewing opportunities as possible.

nThambo Tree Camp is situated in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, sharing unfenced borders with the famous Kruger National Park in South Africa.

Delicious meals are offered in the camp's lovely communal dining room, where guests can all sit around the large dining table and share stories of the day's safari experiences and wildlife sightings.

In addition you can also experience a traditional South African 'braaivleis' with meals cooked over the open fire.

nThambo Tree Camp has five "treehouse" solar-powered chalets each sleeping a maximum of 2 people. This means the lodge can only accommodate up to 10 people, ensuring an intimate and private experience with excellent personal service.

Each chalet has a stand-up fan, reading lamps, charging facilities for most electronic equipment, and an en suite bathroom with separate shower and either twin or double beds can be requested. Chalets are built on stilts and feature a private verandah which offers wonderful views of the surrounding plains.
