Mabula Game Reserve

Named after the local king who once ruled this area, Mabula is a private game reserve on the 'Springbok Flats', as locals call this area, which comprises mixed bush and grassland.

Mabula is home to the 'Big Five' as well as a wide range of other species, including zebra, warthog, hippopotamus, giraffe and no less than twenty-three antelope species. The reserve also boasts a wide range of bird life, and Mabula is renowned for its white rhino.

Skilled guides accompany guests on 4x4 game drives. Visitors can also book night drives and learn more about the secretive ways of Mabula's nocturnal creatures.

Accommodation in Mabula Game Reserve is in upmarket, thatched en-suite chalets and time-share units. Mabula has excellent bar and restaurant facilities as well as three fully-equipped conference rooms. Besides relaxing at the swimming pool guests can also go on accompanied walks and horse trails.
