Privately owned Jaci's Safari Lodge is situated under a grove of Tamboti trees, on the edge of the Marico River.

The main complex is curved around a huge anthill and consists of a spacious lounge and open plan dining area with uninterrupted views of the bush.

Upstairs there is a quiet reading space. There is also a well-stocked ethnic craft shop, fully equipped gym as well as a kiddies' play area.

Between early morning and evening game drives, relax beside the swimming pool which offers views of the river below.

Situated in the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve, Jaci's Safari Lodge is located under a grove of Tamboti trees, on the edge of the Marico River.

Meals come from an ultra modern kitchen, in full view of the dining area. Dinners are eaten outside around the open fire in the boma under the stars, or out in the bush, surrounded by nature.

The Nare Suite has a self contained kitchen (for the chefs to prepare meals for you in the luxury of your own retreat), lounge and outdoor dining area.

Jaci's Safari Lodge offers only 8 double rooms and the exclusive 2-bedroomed Nare Suite and 4-bedroomed Safari Suite. Early risers may catch a glimpse of bush babies returning to roost in the trees around the rooms or enjoy the morning francolin calls.

Double Rooms: Each suite looks out over a dry river-bed which acts as a walkway for animals on their way to and from the waterhole. Each room has a handmade ceramic fireplace surrounded by a stone chimney. The deck in front of the room allows you to sit and enjoy the surrounding sights and smells of the bushveld whilst watching the animals walking past to drink. The walls in the bathroom are built using natural rock and the bath was constructed on site. There is also an outdoor shower. In order to create a 'tented feel' the rooms have canvas sides.

Six of the rooms have twin beds, and the 7th and 8th rooms have king-size four-poster beds.

Children sharing with their parents are comfortably accommodated on camping stretchers in the rooms. Maximum 3 children per room.

The Nare Suite: This exclusive 'bush retreat'- so named because of the resident Buffalo Bull who frequents the waterhole in front of the Suite (along with the numerous other animal visitors) - accommodates a maximum of 4 guests.

The Safari Suite: Can accommodate 4 adults and 4 children. The suite has its own sun deck, complete with sun loungers and private splash pool.
