Makalali Resource Reserve

Makalali Resource Reserve is a private game reserve with all the Big Five roaming in the hot, dry, undulating bush.

The lodges tend to be of the exclusive variety and well worth a visit. A game ranger will take you on drives in open vehicles, or on game walks where you can have the thrill of tracking animals that are generally a lot bigger than you.

Although there are several river beds running through the Makalali Resource Reserve, they tend to be dry a lot of the time.
