Vuyatela, which means 'come visit again', is an exclusive lodge located in the Djuma Game Reserve, part of the world-renowned Sabi Sand Reserve. This unique lodge combines local building techniques with contemporary components of African culture. The vibrant architecture and colourful mosaics in each suite add to the artistic atmosphere.

Game drives and guided bush walks are conducted daily and offer you the chance to view animal and birdlife close-up. There are also daily tours to a nearby Shangaan village, where you can learn about the customs and traditions of the local people.

Back at the lodge you can visit the gym, relaxation room and the suspended bird-watching tower. In the evening, sip a cocktail by your private plunge pool while watching game pass by. You are able to send an email home and check on your favourite website from the privacy of your deck or from the internet library.

Djuma Vuyatela Lodge is situated in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve in the Kruger South region, in South Africa.

The cuisine served at Djuma Vuyatela is based on classic South African dishes, but with the emphasis placed on quality ingredients and impressive presentation.

You will never go hungry. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and fresh bakes are served daily, and you can also enjoy a drink at the lodge bar overlooking the watering hole.

Vuyatela comprises 8 luxury chalets, each built using a different local technique with abstract patterns painted on the walls. Chalets are made up of bedroom, dressing-room and bathroom with bath and outdoor shower, separate lounge, private deck and plunge pool.

All suites have air-conditioning, fans, mosquito nets, a telephone and bar fridge.
