Enjoy a 2-hour boat trip from Plettenberg Bay's Central Beach, around the bay to Robberg Peninsula, while keeping an eye out for whales, dolphins and open-sea birdlife.
Leave from Central Beach and head east, past the bird sanctuary and Keurbooms to Arch Rock. Keep an eye out for Bottlenose and the rare Indo-Pacific Humpback dolphins, as well as some shark species.
From here you will head off into the middle of the bay were a wide variety of pelagic seabirds can be found. Also look out for the resident Bryde's whale and the Southern Right humpback whale that visit the bay annually.
From here you will turn you attention to the wild side - Robberg Peninsula. Prepare yourself to see pods of whales and dolphins swimming together, before you draw next to Robberg. Meet the ever growing colony of Cape fur seals, while admiring the unique geology from this unusual viewpoint.
Listen to a brief rundown of the area's history while you head back to Central Beach.
