A secluded luxury lodge lying within the scenic Sanbona Wildlife Reserve in the heart of the Little Karoo.
Beautiful Karoo Experience - from San rock art and marine fossils to cheetah and white lion.
Dramatic Setting - at the foot of a towering rock wall with nesting black eagles on the cliffs.
Very Romantic - privacy of your own plunge pool as well as inside and outside showers.
Dwyka Lodge is situated in the Sanbona Wildlife Reserve which is only 3 hour's drive from Cape Town, on Route 62, between the beautiful towns of Montagu and Barrydale. The reserve is home to lion, cheetah, elephant, white rhino, giraffe, diverse antelope species and small game as well as buffalo.
At 54 000 hectares, Sanbona is one of the largest privately owned game reserves in South Africa and home to the only free-roaming white lions in the world.
It was also previously the home of the San people and today at Sanbona guests can experience the legacy of the Bushman through their incredible rock art.
Dwyka Lodge is luxurious and beautiful with structures made of solid wood. The interior has the effect of draped canvas as the ceiling which is extremely romantic and perfect for couples or honeymooners. Guests at Dwyka have the absolute privacy of their own plunge pool and outdoor shower.
The lodge is located in a dramatic setting at the foot of a towering rock wall with nesting black eagles on the cliffs. Individual suites are secluded and built with a mix of stone walls, plastered walls, large wood-framed windows and large wooden decks looking out onto the cliffs.
You can also indulge yourself at the lodge's Relaxation Retreats spa with a rejuvenating massage, or go on game drives and nature walks where you can do some good game and bird watching.
Dwyka Lodge is located in Sanbona Wildlife Reserve, Little Karoo in South Africa.
