Sanbona is located at the foot of the Warmwaterberg Mountain in the Little Karoo. The area is known for its rich cultural history, with the presence of the San people living on in the area.

There are two accommodation options at Sanbona - Tilney Manor and Khanni. The privacy and seclusion offered by Tilney Manor makes it a perfect destination for honeymooners, while the spacious Khanni homestead is ideal for families.

Sanbona is part of a wildlife project where various game are being introduced into the area. For the first time in over 200 years big cats will be roaming freely in the Little Karoo. Sanbona has recently released two white lion into the park.
