Wilderness - the environmentally sensitive concession is largely unexplored, with a huge diversity of both fauna and flora.
Rejuvenation Centre - a soothing foot massage after an exciting morning walk, followed by a plunge into the pool is always an invigorating way to start the day.
Sleep Outs - if you want to enjoy an unrivalled wilderness experience, you will be able to enjoy Sleep Outs on elevated wooden platforms. This is the only place in the Kruger National Park offering this unusual accommodation.
The utmost care was taken to minimise the environmental impact of Rhino Post Safari Lodge, and to that end, no concrete was used in the buildings.
Careful consideration was taken in the layout of the lodge, battery power is used for lighting, a special indigenous Reedbed System processes the bathroom waste, and other waste is sorted and recycled wherever possible.
Both the swimming pool and lounge overlook an active waterhole in the riverbed. The lounge, with its extensive wine cellar, fireplace and bar provides a perfect setting for an afternoon or evening sundowner.
LocationRhino Post Safari Lodge is located in 12 000 hectares of pristine bushveld in the only official wilderness concession awarded in the Kruger National Park. Approximately 10km North East (as the hornbill flies) of Skukuza Rest Camp, the concession shares a 15km boundary with Mala Mala in the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, with game moving freely between the two reserves.

Stilts raise the spaciously appointed suites from the riverbank, allowing you to view the Mutlumuvi riverbed with ease from your bedroom, bathroom and private wooden deck.
The suites at Rhino Post Safari Lodge are set out in an open plan style with wooden floors, thatched roofs, canvas walls and a ceiling fan.
Each en-suite bathroom includes a deep, freestanding bath, "his and hers" basins, a separate toilet, and an outdoor shower protected by thick reed poles. The bathroom floor is attractively decorated with delicate mosaic designs complementing the contemporary floor.
