Highgrove Guest House combines distinctive accommodation in Mpumalanga for only 16 people, so personal service is assured.

The original colonial farmstead was constructed around the turn of the century and was renovated and revamped in 1990, when the accommodation suites were constructed, and the lodge opened in 1991. The renovations have retained the character of the era.

Highgrove Guest House offers opportunities for you to go out on safari in the game reserve or to explore the incredible Panorama Route.

Antique shops, artists' workshops, bird watching, botanical gardens, fishing, golf courses, horse riding, hiking, hot air ballooning, white water rafting or helicopter flips can also be arranged.

Highgrove House is situated in the mountains of Mpumalanga, off the R40 Route between White River and Hazyview, at an altitude of about 1 000m.

Mornings at Highgrove House begin with alfresco breakfasts in the Victorian gazebo, whilst evening highlights are the gourmet dishes and fine wines of the candlelit restaurant.

To maintain an atmosphere of fine dining, dress code for dinner is smart. Thus, no jeans, shorts or athletic shoes are allowed.

Each of the Highgrove Guest House 8 garden suites includes a full en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower, luxurious bathrobes, pure cotton sheets, goose down duvets and king-size or twin beds.

Overhead fans provide an "Out of Africa" feeling, and all accommodation suites have separate sitting rooms, with open fireplaces and secluded verandas with views of the forest or valley and avocado orchards.

The 2 orchard suites have private saunas and swimming pools in their own secluded gardens.
