Cradled between the Lebombo Mountains to the west and the Indian Ocean to the east, The Phinda Reserve is located in one of Africa's most diverse regions. There are several distinct ecosystems in the reserve, from palm savannah and mopane bush to rare sand forest and dense thornveld.

The 200km² reserve is packed with wildlife. The Big Five are all running around Phinda, and the reserve is also home to impressive populations of black rhino, white rhino and cheetah.

Phinda offers a private and intimate game experience and a very luxurious stay. Four luxury lodges are scattered around the reserve - Forest Lodge, Mountain Lodge, Rock Lodge and Vlei Lodge. All Phinda lodges belong to safari giant, CC Africa.
