Phinda Mountain Lodge is a large lodge situated on the mountain side in the Phinda Game Reserve. This reserve has a huge diversity of landscape, with lake, mountain and coastal plain views from the lodge.

This large and spacious lodge is ideal for large groups, with comfortable living areas where you can relax and unwind in this beautiful setting. The guest dining area, lounge, shaded terrace and bar lead out to cool verandas with spectacular views of the Lebombo Mountains and bushveld beyond. In the evenings, you can watch the sun sinking below the horizon as you sip a sundowner at the bar.

Game viewing at Phinda is excellent, with game drives and walks offering you great sighting opportunities. You can also go rhino tracking, and birdwatching is great in the area. Enjoy relaxing on boat cruises, or exploring the waters on canoe. If you want some insight into the local culture, you can spend a few hours visiting a nearby community.

For times when you just want to relax, you can enjoy cooling off in the shaded swimming pool, or view the wildlife from the lookout deck.

Phinda Mountain Lodge is located in the Northern KwaZulu Natal safari area, in the Phinda Game Reserve.

Lunch is served on the shaded terrace, on the patio or in the dining room. Dinner is served in the open-air boma. You can also enjoy a bush breakfast or dinner in the wild.

Phinda Mountain Lodge has 20 spacious split-level suites, each a with a lounge and en-suite bathroom, opening onto a private deck and plunge pool overlooking the reserve. Paved pathways lead down the mountainside from the main lodge to the chalets.
