In the diverse and beautiful setting of the Phinda Resource Reserve, Phinda Zuka Lodge provides the perfect setting for a unique and secluded safari experience.

The main lodge overlooks a busy waterhole, with deep verandas and comfortable armchairs providing the perfect place for wildlife viewing. A relaxed café-style kitchen and an intimate library area make up the main living areas, a great area to return to after a day outdoors.

Your group will be given your own private ranger, who will help you to tailor-make your safari experience. You can go on twice-daily game drives, on guided bush walks and on boating safaris and canoe trips down the Mzinene River.

With an abundance of game in the area, your game activities will give you great opportunities to view big game such as cheetah, lion, elephant and rhino.

A number of optional activities are also available. To add some variety to your safari experience, take a trip to the nearby Indian Ocean, where you can discover the marine life with snorkelling and scuba diving trips, and beautiful coastal flights.

Take some time out to just relax at the camp, where you can cool off in the pool, lounge on a deck chair or view the game from a comfy armchair on the veranda.

Dinner can be an informal affair, where you can chat over a meal in the café-style kitchen. Phinda is known for its great bush breakfasts and banquets.

A great experience is to dine under the stars, out in the bush.

Phinda Zuka Lodge has 4 thatched Zululand bush cottages. The cottages are set 15 metres apart, offering privacy, peace and quiet, and each features a veranda overlooking the waterhole.

The rooms are designed for comfort and ease, with air-conditioning, and en-suite bathrooms sporting great views.
