Ivory Tree Game Lodge is in a scenic and unique location, in an area home to an extinct volcano and riverine woodlands.

Located in the Pilanesberg National Park, the lodge is in a prime location for game and wildlife viewing, with the Big 5 resident in the area. The main lodge is made up of a restaurant, bar and curio shop, opening out onto a beautiful garden and pool area.

Wake up to an early morning game drive, where you can enjoy coffee at a midway point, watch the sun rising over the hills, and have the opportunity to sight the Big 5 and other game.

Spend the rest of the day relaxing at the pool, pampering yourself with treatments at the award-winning Sanctuary Spa, or just enjoying the scenery from your room, before your late afternoon game drive.

A great way to experience the sunrise and scenery is to go on a morning balloon safari, where you can enjoy a champagne breakfast at your landing destination.

Breakfast consists of a delicious buffet spread, served in the main restaurant or outside by the pool. Lunch may also be enjoyed outside, with a variety of salads, cheeses, breads and main dishes served.

High tea is served by the pool, just before you go on your afternoon game drive. When the weather is good, dinner may be enjoyed in the boma, where you can enjoy telling stories of the day's game drives around the campfire.

Ivory Tree Game Lodge offers accommodation in 57 double suites and 3 executive suites. All the rooms are designed for comfort, with colonial-style furnishings.

The rooms have en-suite bathrooms equipped with a large bath and outdoor shower, both sporting great views. You can enjoy relaxing on a lounger on your terrace, as you take in your beautiful surroundings.
