Hog Hollow Country Lodge is situated in a private nature reserve, with views of the surrounding valleys and Tsitsikamma Mountains. The lodge is situated alongside a central dam, creating a private oasis on the edge of an indigenous forest.

Relax by the pool overlooking the Matjes River Gorge, or stroll along the forest's walking trails to see the elephants at the Knysna Elephant Park. Keurbooms Beach, and Nature's Valley are 10min drive from Hog Hollow Country Lodge.

You could also take a boat ride out to sea, and get close to the whales and dolphins that visit this coastline. Whales calve in the area between July and September, while the dolphins play here all year round.
