Embracing the southern bank of the Bitou River in Plettenberg Bay, Emily Moon River Lodge is a small, unique lodge with wonderfully quirky yet chic décor.
It is surrounded by indigenous vegetation and woodland boardwalks link your lodge with the main lodge.
Emily Moon River Lodge has a unique outlook over the Bitou Valley and Wetland with the winding Bitou River running through it. There is abundant wild birdlife with flocks of geese and ducks and water birds of all sizes and descriptions, and the riverine bush attracts many species of birds.
The Emily Moon River Lodge staff will gladly assist in organising any of the activities in and around Plettenberg Bay.

Emily Moon River Lodge has a very popular restaurant called Emily's, decorated with quirky collectors' pieces.
The restaurant's chef, Larry, produces an interesting menu for candlelit dinners and fun lunches around the pool area.
There is a vibey, little bar and sundowner deck where a great buzz happens prior to dinner and where you will find a large log fire after dinner.
Emily Moon River Lodge also offers Emily's as a wedding venue, and it can cater for up to 75 guests.
Emily Moon River Lodge offers accommodation in 7 lodges for 2 adults per unit, plus 1 family lodge that sleeps 2 adults and 2 children.
Each of the suites is individually decorated in the same quirky style as the rest of the lodge and have their own sitting areas, wooden viewing decks overlooking the winding Bitou River, mini bars, satellite TV, open-air showers, ceiling fans and fireplaces.
The spacious bathrooms even have under-floor heating.
