Arathusa Safari Lodge is situated in the remote northern wilderness of the Sabie Sand Game Reserve, bordering the Kruger National Park. The camp, which lies below a forest of Knobthorn trees, is completely open-plan and has a traditional bushlodge feel.

This section of Sabie Sands is known for its rich diversity of animal and birdlife, with exceptional sightings of leopard and massive herds of buffalo. Knowledgeble trackers and guides combine entertaining anecdotes with interesting bits of information and an infectious enthusiasm.

An infinity swimming pool overlooks the lake. The resident hippo pod provides 24-hour entertainment, and many other animals come down for a drink.

Arathusa Safari Lodge offers both English and continental breakfasts. Meal times are a sociable affair; breakfasts and lunches are served buffet style on the timber deck overlooking the lake, while dinners are served in the starlit boma.

Arathusa Safari Lodge offers exclusive accommodation in 10 thatched luxury chalets, each with a king-sized four-poster bed and secluded verandah with spectacular views of the lake, as well as the wildlife that frequent the area.

The recently upgraded bathrooms include both indoor and outdoor showers and seperate bathtubs. All suites are air conditioned and have mosquito nets.
