Exeter River Lodge is nestled under a canopy of ebony trees and overlooks the Sand River in the Sabi Sand Private Reserve. 8 individually designed and decorated luxurious suites have splendid river views in one of the wildest parts of the African savannah. Herds of elephant and hippos are often seen from the comfort of the camp.

Exeter River Lodge is a truly luxurious African safari experience. In the main area of the lodge, teak furniture, deep sofas, covered in the finest linens and ornaments originating from the furthest corners of Africa create a welcoming and relaxed ambience. Magnificently positioned lounges and dining areas overlook the Sand River and compliment the finest cuisine.

Activities on offer at the lodge include photographic and walking safaris, as well as game drives to spot the Big 5 which inhabit in the area. If you are feeling energetic there is an open-air gym overlooking the river, for a unique work-out. There is also safari bar, fully stocked with a range of international beverages, and a curio shop.

Exeter River Private Game Lodge is located in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve on the western border of the Kruger National Park, Mpumalanga Province, South Africa.

Accommodation at Exeter River Lodge comprises 8 sumptuous suites with splendid river views and which come complete with private plunge pools, en-suite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor showers, as well as breathtaking views of the Sand River, which teems with wildlife.
