Idube Private Game Reserve, which is part of the world-renowned Greater Kruger Park, is situated in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve in the heart of South Africa's premier wildlife conservation area.

An exclusive family-owned lodge, Idube is dedicated to giving you a genuine bush experience.

Built under towering knobthorn and jackalberry trees, the lodge offers you a peaceful retreat away from the stress of city life. Expect to spot nyala and warthog grazing under the nearby trees, as well as a variety of birds and small animals at the water feature.

There is also a swimming pool, as well as a hide next to the wall of Shadulu dam where you can watch the elephants bathe or the lions come down to drink.

Daily game drives and bush walks, led by skilled rangers and Shangaan trackers, promise close encounters of the wild kind. Botanical walks unveil the rich textures of the African earth and the fascinating uses of the lowveld's plant life.

The nearby sunken hide is especially designed for wildlife photography and is readhed by a gently swaying bridge.

The lodge has 10 individually decorated en suite chalets with air-conditioners, overhead fans, high ceilings and mosquito screens. There is also mosquito gauze on doors and windows.

Brand new private wooden decks have been added to each suite and serve as a good place to view visiting animals. Outside showers offer the perfect solution to a hot day.

In addition to the 10 standard suites there are also 2 luxurious Makubela suites, both of which are large and spacious with their own private splash pool.
