Meals are enjoyed around a communal table, encouraging story-telling of the days' activities.
All meals are prepared in Notten's kitchen and feature as part of an extremely varied menu. Dig into a hearty traditional bush breakfast, buffet high tea / lunch, and three-course dinner that will leave you wanting more.
The rooms at Notten's are adequately appointed and beautifully decorated, all boasting private outdoor wooden decks with endless views of the African bush. All windows and sliding doors are fitted with protective mosquito netting, while further insect coils are provided.
Electrical lighting is substituted with paraffin lamps, ensuring a romantic, unassuming atmosphere. All rooms are also equipped with ceiling fans.
All rooms provide on-suite bathroom facilities with hot showers and baths, and for those who want and even closer bush encounter, four of the chalets entertain both inside and outdoor showers.
