Ulusaba Safari Lodge is secluded in an area of the Sabi Sands Game Reserve with its unspoilt beauty and Big 5 game. The lodge is built along a dry river bed beneath ancient jackalberry trees so you really are in the heart of the African bush.

All rooms have been created using natural materials and offer a private and spacious retreat. Some areas are accessed by rustic swing bridges and wooden walkways.

3 types of room are available, from the smaller Safari Rooms close to the main lodge to the Elephant Rooms that are raised above the ground and have large viewing decks. The River Rooms offer a more private stay, while the Treehouse Suite offers a totally private stay in a romantic and secluded setting.

Ulusaba guest areas include spacious lounge areas, bars, dining areas with impressive open fireplaces, swimming pools and sundecks overlooking the most unforgettable views.

Enjoy twice-daily game drives, as well as a daily walking safari with your knowledgeable guide and an experienced tracker, and treat yourself to some pampering at the Aroma Boma Spa.

At night, you can also visit the observatory located in the heart of the bush where you can do some stargazing.

Dinner at Ulusaba Safari Lodge is served either in the traditional African boma (campfire area) at Safari Lodge or on the lantern-lit deck.

You can also be treated to dinner in the bush, under the African star-filled sky.

Ulusaba Safari Lodge offers 3 exceptional Safari Rooms, 3 luxury Elephant Rooms and 4 outstanding River Rooms, for a maximum of 20 guests.

The exclusive Treehouse Suite is located a 15min walk from the main lodge. Accessed by an elevated walkway, the suite is spacious and secluded and has a large wooden deck that looks out over the dam. While staying here, you have the option of dining privately on your deck or join the other guests at the main lodge.

From your room you'll be able to view animals as they stroll past on their way to the nearby watering hole. The rooms have fairytale 4-poster beds, huge bathrooms with ball and claw baths, open showers, and his & hers vanities. All rooms have ceiling fans and air-conditioning.
