Depart Johannesburg this morning with your experienced Ilios guide and travel through scenic Mpumalanga. This 5 and a half hour journey takes you through spectacular mountain passes, along rivers, and through valleys and forests.

You'll arrive at the Protea Hotel Kruger Gate in the late afternoon, where after checking in, a thrilling game drive in an open vehicle awaits.

Kruger is known for its incredible game-viewing: the Big 5 as well as other large game like giraffe, hippo, cheetah and wild dog are regularly spotted. After your first game drive you'll return to your hotel for dinner.

After breakfast, you'll head out on a full day game drive safari into the renowned Kruger National Park. Early mornings are the best time for game viewing, as animals are at their most active.

You'll cover as much area as possible in order to maximize your time out in the Kruger, while stops are included at the various lookout points and heritage sites. Be amazed at authentic bushman rock paintings and exceptional archaeological sites.

Enjoy a packed lunch in the park, before returning to the hotel in the early evening in time for a delicious dinner at the hotel.

Today you'll Leave the Kruger behind, as you enjoy one final breakfast and depart the park via the dramatic Panorama Route - a true scenic wonder of the region. Stop at God's Window, the Three Rondawels and the Blyde River Canyon gorge.

If time allows, you'll also visit the fascinating Bourke's Luck Potholes - a collection of strange rock formations that attract visitors year on year.

Arrive in Johannesburg in the late afternoon where you'll be dropped off at OR Tambo International airport to catch your flight to Cape Town. On arrival you'll be met and privately transferred to your luxurious hotel, 2Inn1 Kensington, a sumptuous boutique hotel in the heart of the city.

Your Cape Town adventure begins today, as you are transferred from 2Inn1 Kensington to your Waterfront-based City Lodge, where you'll have time to unpack and meet your guide.

Begin your half-day city tour at 1pm with a trip up renowned Table Mountain (weather permitting, cable car fee not included). The views from the top are simply spectacular: Robben Island, Lion's Head and Devils Peak can all be seen.

From there you'll head into the heart of Cape Town and visit the Company Gardens, the Castle of Good Hope and the vibrant flea market in Greenmarket Square. The day ends with a drive through the picturesque Bo-Kaap before returning to your Waterfront lodge.

This morning sees you depart on a full-day tour of the Cape Peninsula, a simply spectacular drive that starts by travelling along the Atlantic Seaboard to the sunny beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton before stopping at Llandudno for photos.

You'll then head into Hout Bay, a quaint fishing village, to enjoy some shopping at a local market, before enjoying a trip along spectacular Chapman's Peak - one of the most beautiful drives in the world.

You'll then enter the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and visit acclaimed Cape Point, before enjoying lunch in Simon's Town. Continue with a tour of the penguin colony at Boulder's Beach and wander through the beautiful Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

Return to your hotel and enjoy a delicious meal at one of Cape Town's top restaurants.

Leave Cape Town behind and enjoy a scenic drive into the Cape Winelands, known for its picturesque country towns, superb wineries and gourmet restaurants.

Enjoy a decadent wine and chocolate tasting at Waterford Wine Estate just outside Stellenbosch, another stop at Chamonix Wine Farm, and then make your way into the pretty town of Franschhoek for lunch.

Return via Backsberg for an additional wine tasting and then head back to Cape Town.

After breakfast you'll check out and transfer back to the airport for your outbound flight.
