Your South African camping expedition gets off to a tasty start, sampling some of South Africa's exquisite wines in the Cape Winelands. Attempt the world's highest bungee jump or ride on an ostrich - the biggest bird in Africa. Discover the breathtaking scenery in the mountain Kingdom of Lesotho before heading overland to the Drakensberg escarpment where you can enjoy activities such as hiking, horse riding and mountain biking. Explore Kwa-Zulu Natal, home of Africa's Zulu warrior, and spend a night in the St Lucia Wetlands, a world heritage site. On this camping expedition you will discover some of South Africa's heritage and visit the Kruger National Park in search of the Big 5.
- Day 1: Stellenbosch
- Itinerary
After a brief orientation you depart Cape Town and travel to the beautiful wine region of Stellenbosch. You can enjoy a relaxed lunch and then visit a selection of vineyards to sample some of the region's excellent wine. In whale season (between June and November) you spend the night near Hermanus, a quaint seaside town which offers the best land based whale watching in the world.
- Day 2: Oudtshoorn

Leaving the coast behind you, you drive inland to see the incredible stalagmite formations in the world famous Cango Caves. After taking a tour of this amazing natural wonder you visit an ostrich farm where you can have the opportunity to ride the largest bird in the world.

- Day 3: Knysna
- Itinerary
Returning to the coast via some lovely country roads, you arrive in the picturesque seaside village of Knysna with its sandstone cliffs, the Knysna Heads, and beautiful lagoon. There are numerous adventure activities for you to choose from or you may prefer to explore the shops in search of interesting local craft.

- Days 4-5: Tsitsikamma
- Itinerary
It is a short drive to Stormsriver, your base for the next 2 nights. From here you explore the coastal region in the Tsitsikamma National Park, a beautiful reserve with forests, fynbos and spectacular seascapes. The hiking here is some of the best anywhere and includes the option to walk the first few kilometers of the Otter Trail.

- Day 6: Addo Elephant Park
- Itinerary
Today you travel to Addo Elephant National Park, a sanctuary to over 450 elephants, as well as the Cape buffalo, black rhino and a variety of antelope species. You spend your day surrounded by these magnificent creatures. Game driving in the park should give you plenty of opportunities to take some wonderful wildlife photos.
- Day 8: Coffee Bay
- Itinerary
Between Cintsa and Coffee Bay you pay a visit to the Nelson Mandela museum in Umtata for a slice of history. At Coffee Bay, one of the most beautiful spots on the Wild Coast, you can visit the well-known Hole in the Wall.
- Days 9-10: Lesotho
- Itinerary
After a full day's drive you arrive in the Mountain Kingdom of Lesotho with its breathtaking scenery. When border formalities are completed you drive up into the mountains to your rustic overnight spot. The next day you start early with the option of a pony trek into the remote hills of Lesotho accompanied by local guides. If you choose to remain behind you can just relax and admire the mountain vistas, or visit the local village, school or craft market.

- Days 11-12: Drakensberg
- Itinerary
Crossing the border you depart Lesotho and return to South Africa where you drive towards the Royal Natal National Park. You spend the next 2 days in this majestic area exploring mountain paths and enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Drakensberg. Optional horse riding trails are an easier way to reach some of the more remote viewpoints.

- Day 13: Durban
- Itinerary
Your journey today takes you through some amazing scenery as you return to the coast. In the late afternoon you arrive in Durban, known for its excellent surf and Golden Mile beaches. The city is also home to the largest Indian population outside India, and in the evening you can go out for a meal at one of the excellent curry restaurants.
Optional Activities: Dinner and night out in the city.
- Day 14: St Lucia
- Itinerary
On your way from Durban along the Kwa Zulu Natal coast you visit a traditional Zulu village to learn more about Zulu history and culture. You also have the opportunity to purchase some traditional handicrafts, the Zulu people are known for their beautiful bead work. You spend the night inside the St Lucia Wetlands Park, a world heritage site. There are a number of optional activities available to enhance your time here.

- Days 15-16: Swaziland
- Itinerary
Another border crossing takes you out of South Africa and into Swaziland where you will experience some more of Southern Africa's cultural diversity. You spend the night in the Mlilwane Nature Reserve, Swaziland's oldest protected area. You are able to explore the sanctuary on foot, horse back or mountain bike.

- Days 17-18: Kruger Park
- Itinerary
You return to South Africa and drive to the Kruger National Park for 2 unforgettable days of game viewing. Kruger is home to Africa's Big 5 (lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant) as well as a multitude of other beautiful African wildlife both large and small. To increase your chances of seeing the rare nocturnal animals like leopard, a night drive is highly recommended. Guided game walks give you the opportunity to get even closer to Africa's wildlife.

- Day 19: Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre
- Day 20: Johannesburg
- Itinerary
Your tour finishes with a scenic drive through the Panorama Route visiting Blyde River Canyon, Bourke's Luck Potholes and God's Window before arriving in Johannesburg. Although your memorable trip has officially ended, you may want to go out for a last dinner with your travel companions in one of the city's excellent cosmopolitan restaurants.
