The Dunes Guest Farm is perfectly positioned in St Francis Bay, South Africa, in a 600-hectare conservancy. It provides a relaxed and friendly base from which to explore the Garden Route, with all its beaches, forests and wildlife.

This spacious guesthouse has the feel of an old Cape Farmhouse, with a stone fireplace in the comfortable lounge, reed ceilings and old Oregon doors and windows. Rooms are decorated with Mahogany wood and textured fabrics, with their own private verandas for secluded views of the beautiful gardens.

Because of its prime location, a range of activities will keep you busy for the duration of your stay. You could stay on the farm relaxing by the heated pool, or treat yourself to a massage. You could venture down to the beach or golf course for a day in the summer sun, before visiting one of the Garden Route's many restaurants.

For an active African experience, you can go on nature walks or tours of the dunes, while your kids are entertained with pony rides.

You can enjoy your meals in the elegant dining room, or out in the open air on the veranda. The Dunes is known for serving delicious afternoon high teas, and there are a few good restaurants in the area.

There are two types of accommodation options available at The Dunes St. Francis Bay - Garden Rooms and Cottages.

The Garden Rooms are decorated with warm, earthy tones; with spacious bathrooms featuring ball-and-claw Victorian baths and under floor heating. Enjoy the views of the surrounding area from your private veranda overlooking the gardens.

The Cottages are free-standing units sleeping 4 guests. There are 2 bedrooms per unit, a lounge with a fireplace and a private veranda.
