Hawksmoor House is an original Cape Dutch-style country retreat, situated on a 220ha wine farm near Stellenbosch in the beautiful Cape Winelands, and offers a relaxed and authentic farm-style experience.

You can head out on walks through the vineyards with one of Hawksmoor's friendly dogs, go wine-tasting at one of the nearby wine farms, enjoy a sumptuous afternoon tea on the veranda or simply relax on the lawns.

Hawksmoor House serves continental and Full English breakfasts in the morning, either in the grand dining room or out on the veranda. Lunches can be arranged, but most guests prefer to eat out at one of the nearby wine farms or in Stellenbosch.

Dinners are taken together in the dramatic chandelier-hung dining room, an antique 18-seater table. Expect delicious locally-inspired meals, followed by cheese platters and a nightcap.

Complimentary afternoon tea is served everyday out on the veranda along with a selection of home-baked cakes and biscuits.

Hawksmoor House has 8 beautifully decorated bedrooms, each of which is designed around a colour theme and affording great individuality.

The rooms are spacious and furnished with exquisite antiques, a queen-size bed and have an en-suite bathroom. Each room also enjoys lovely views out over the garden, and three of the rooms have their own private fireplace.
