Fairytale Complex - created around the legend of a lost civilisation.
Lavish - with attention paid to even the smallest of details.
Spectacular - one of the leading hotels of the world.
The Palace of the Lost City is an opulent extravaganza of architectural and decorative prowess and is easily one of the world's most imaginatively created hotels. Within the Palace of the Lost City complex, a fairytale palace awaits you.
Built with passion and dedication, the interior of The Palace features mosaics, frescoes and hand-painted ceilings, which all pay tribute to the art and nature of South Africa.
Relax at the Grand Pool and enjoy a drink from the Pool Bar, or walk through the lush artificial rainforest. Play in the waves at the Valley of the Waves or head for the vibrant Sun City entertainment complex.
In keeping with the amazing surroundings of the Palace of the Lost City, all the restaurants serve exquisite cuisine. The Villa del Palazzo overlooks the pool and appears to float like a jewel box of colour on a cushion of sparkling water. It specialises in North Italian à la Carte dinners.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at the beautifully laid out Crystal Court at the Palace of the Lost City. The meals are light and delicious and strongly influenced by the cuisine of South Africa and other African styles.
The Palace of the Lost City also has 2 suitably opulent bars - both ideal for enjoying cocktails, pre-dinner drinks or a nightcap. At the Tusk Bar and Lounge no detail has been spared with 3 dominating arches, each made in the form of huge teak elephant tusks. Adjoining the Villa del Palazzo you will find the elegant Palm Court Lounge which, in true colonial style, has a butler service.
The Palace of the Lost City comprises 338 rooms and 4 suites, namely The King, Royal, Africa and Desert suites. They are the epitome of regal opulence and grandeur, each being unique with hand-carved walls, frescoed ceilings and handcrafted artefacts.
All the luxury suites at the Palace of the Lost City have 2 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, as well as sauna and Jacuzzi baths.
Special features of the standard rooms at The Palace of the Lost City include an individual entrance foyer, en suite bathroom, lounge area and butler station.
