Motse Lodge in the Tswalu Private Game Reserve is all about experiencing the wonders of the Kalahari in luxury and in comfort.
Motse offers declious Pan-African style cuisine, prepared in traditional fashion by the chefs and complemented by the finest wines from Tswalu's private cellar.
You may enjoy your meals either in the dining room of the main house, or in the privacy of your suite. For an authentic African experience, you can enjoy a traditional fireside meal in the outdoor boma.
Another unique Tswalu experience is dune sundowners. At dusk you'll leave the lodge for one of the nearby sand dunes, where you'll enjoy drinks and snacks while listening to a short history of the local flora and fauna, before heading back to Motse on a night drive.
Motse Lodge offers luxury accommodation for 20 people in authentic stone-walled and thatched-roofed bungalows, 6 of which are 2 bedded and 2 of which accommodate 4 people, making them ideal for families.
Each bungalow is elegantly decorated, combining rustic touches with colonial furniture and tribal artifacts. Each room has indoor and outdoor showers and a private sundeck with beautiful views of the nearby waterhole and Kalahari landscape.
