Jatinga Country Lodge is situated just outside the charming town of White River and has a peaceful, English country house feel. The house, in previous years a hunting lodge, still has two of its original fireplaces in the lounge.

The White River, which runs through the garden, offers you the opportunity to walk along its banks while exploring the beautiful gardens the property has to offer. The garden is also host to a citrus orchard as well as a pine forest.

A secluded pool deck, with comfortable chairs and hammocks will help you unwind and take in the beauty of your surroundings. Collect a pair of binoculars from the friendly staff, and view some of the abundant bird life around the garden.

Jatinga Country Lodge is located within driving distance of some of Mpumalanga's top attractions. This makes it possible to take day-trips to The Kruger National Park and Sabi Sands Nature Reserve. Among the other attractions, you will find the historical mining town of Pilgrim's Rest and the majestic Blyde River Canon.

Jatinga Country House is located just outside of White River, 38km from the Numbi Gate of the Kruger National Park, and 10 minutes drive from Kruger International Airport in Mpumalanga, South Africa.

Jatinga Country Lodge has a breakfast menu consisting of muesli, fresh salmon and fruit. Lunches can be enjoyed in the garden while dinner is served in the à la carte restaurant on the property.

Jatinga Country Lodge also serves high tea including sandwiches, cake and fresh scones with strawberry jam and cream.

If you are planning a day-trip to the Kruger or just relaxing next to the river, the lodge can prepare you a gourmet picnic basket with cheese boards, fresh bread and other gourmet delights.

Jatinga Country House has 16 superior and 4 luxury rooms, all individually decorated. Different rooms offer you different luxuries like outdoor showers, private patios and open fireplaces.

The lodge recently added 6 new rooms that form a little retreat on their own. These rooms have lovely views of the orchard and pine forest. Families can ask for extra beds in these rooms to accommodate children.
