Oliver's is a family owned restaurant and lodge surrounded by colourful gardens with beautiful views across White River Golf Course. This Austrian-styled lodge has managed to successfully combine luxurious accommodation with an easy-going, country feel.

Guests at Oliver's can enjoy all the facilities of the White River Country Club which include an 18-hole championship golf course, as well as tennis and squash courts. Golf enthusiasts also have the chance to play the Leopard Creek Golf Course, which is usually reserved for members only.

Three and a half hours from Johannesburg and within easy reach of the world-famous Kruger National Park, Oliver's Restaurant & Lodge is also conveniently located for relaxing drives through the stunning scenery of the Panorama Route.

Back at the lodge you can laze away the day next to the swimming pool or flip through colourful coffee table books on the verandah. The Wellness and Beauty Clinic has an enticing array of treatments from aromatherapy full body wraps to the ultimate foot massage.

At night a fire is lit in the massive central fireplace.

Tanja runs front of house while Oliver whips up mouth-watering meals in his award-winning restaurant. His menu features both continental and Mediterranean dishes, complimented by a fine selection of wine from the well-stocked wine cellar.

Tasty dinner choices range from grilled calamari and Mozambican prawn curry to mouth-watering German eisbein. Lunch is served on the verandah where you can tuck into crunchy salads, while looking out across the garden and golf course.

For a fun dining experience try the Fondue Chinoise and Swiss Raclette, served in the private and romantic ambience of their wine cellar - which can comfortably seat up to 10 people.

Rooms at Oliver's Restaurant & Lodge are individually furnished, with verandahs or balconies overlooking the golf course. All rooms have spacious bathrooms - each with a separate shower and bath.

There are 3 double rooms in the main house with either twin or king-sized beds.

The new extension has 9 rooms including 2 executive suites and a luxury loft. Additional features in these rooms include a fireplace with a cosy seating area, and a mini hi-fi with DVD and speakers in the bathroom.

Each of the executive suites also has a private outdoor shower.

The family cottage is situated next to the lodge. This private cottage has 2 separate double rooms each with an en-suite bathroom (with showers only).

The rooms share a lounge with a fireplace, small kitchenette and verandah.
