Swaziland is generally a safe destination to travel to, with friendly people and good infrastructure.
There are some good hospitals in the country and the ease with which the larger centres in neighbouring South Africa can be accessed, allows for the best health care.
Swaziland does lie in the malaria zone so precautions must be taken. These include both medication and using insect repellent and other tactics that will help you to avoid being bitten by mosquitos.
The climate is generally cool in winter and hot in summer so clothes should be packed accordingly. It's advisable to pack light if you're using small aircraft transport.
