Mbabane

Mbabane is the capital city of the Kingdom of Swaziland. This might sound rather grand but it is not. The visitor is unlikely to spend much time here - not because it is unpleasant, but rather because the city only has a functional appeal (banks, post offices and shops) to the traveller, rather than the greater attractions of the national parks, Ngwenya Glass Village and Nhlangano.

There is quite a lively Swazi market to visit, but for an enriching Swazi experience you should head for the hills to experience a touch of idyllic rural Africa.
