Mkhaya Game Reserve, in the southeast of Swaziland, is home to the Reilly's Rehabilitation project. The vegetation in the reserve consists of acacia thornveld in the south and sandveld in the north, criss-crossed by dry riverbeds and dotted with waterholes.
At Stone Camp, you can enjoy a game drive in open Land Rovers with a local and experienced guide. Mkhaya is staffed and patrolled entirely by the local Swazi people and the guides are very knowledgeable about the wildlife and surrounding vegetation.
Sightings of elephant and white rhino are common, and the reserve is also home to the endangered black rhino and other threatened species including roan and sable antelope. Other activities include morning game walks - a great way to truly experience the beauty of Mkhaya.
