In combining 2 of Africa's greatest known parks, we have carefully selected camps that we know will complement each other in terms of guiding, accommodation, style and camp location. The mighty Rufiji and Ruaha Rivers provide the focal point for most of the trip's guided game drives, escorted walks and boat rides.

The Selous boasts some of Africa's finest virgin bush, unchanged through centuries and inhabited by some 750,000 wild animals. The wild and dense shrubbery means you won't see herds of animals roaming around, unlike the plains of the Serengeti, however it's an experience that can change your soul.
- Days 4-6: Ruaha National Park
- Itinerary
After breakfast you leave for the airport for your flight to Ruaha, spotting game en route. Upon arrival, you'll be met by a guide and transferred to the camp in time for a delicious lunch. After lunch and a siesta, the rest of the afternoon is spent on a game drive within the reserve.
For the next 2 days you will go on morning and afternoon game activities. Ruaha is far less developed than the Serengeti and is an excellent choice for those seeking adventure. The river is a popular haunt for hippo, kudu, lion, leopard and elephant. Guided walking safaris area also a great attraction, however, there are no boat trips here.
