- Day 1: Arusha - Gibb's Farm (approx 4hr drive)
- Itinerary
You meet your guide in Arusha for the start of your safari. Your guide has been specially chosen for his rich personality, love of children and ability to spark the imagination of your kids.
You depart Arusha and head towards Tarangire. During your drive you pass through the Masai Steppe scattered with many picturesque African villages as well as maize, coffee and banana plantations. Your journey then takes you through the escarpments of the Rift Valley towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, past the scenic wheat plains and coffee plantations of the rolling highlands. Arrive at Gibbs Farm for a delicious lunch and time to settle in before an afternoon activity such as a school visit or a tour of the farmyard to milk the cows and spend time with the baby pigs.

- Day 2: Elephant Caves and Waterfalls
- Itinerary
You rise early and depart after breakfast on a guided scenic walk to the Elephant Caves and waterfalls. Depending on the route, the walk can take between 1½ to 3½ hours. After lunch, there will be time to explore the farm further as well as visit to the fascinating Iraqw Centre close by or do a bit of mountain biking. Other activities your whole family is sure to enjoy include visiting a coffee factory, a wood carving course, or cooking lessons - to mention but a few.

- Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater (approx 2hr15min drive)
- Itinerary
After a leisurely breakfast, you depart Gibb's for Olmoti Crater near the village of Nainokanoka. A gentle 30-min walk along a small track takes you through montane forest to the rim of this shallow crater. The area is covered grass and offers excellent grazing for herds of cattle and free-ranging plains game. From here you can also walk to a pretty waterfall or enjoy a picnic lunch looking out over a vast plain of Masai cattle and antelope.
Your journey then continues to the Ngorongoro Crater. You reach your lodge perched on the crater rim in the late afternoon. Spend the last part of the day on the balcony looking down on the stunning wilderness area within this World Heritage Site.

- Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
- Itinerary
A highlight awaits you this morning as you depart by 4x4 to explore what is commonly referred to as the world's largest wildlife zoo. After breakfast, you descend 2,000 feet through the early morning mist onto the crater floor for a full day of game viewing complete with a picnic lunch. Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest intact volcanic caldera and is also one of the world's 7 natural wonders. Due to its size and diversity, the crater floor is comprised of several distinct habitats, ranging from forest, swamps, lakes and springs, to open grassland and some sandy dunes.

- Day 5: Ngorongoro - Serengeti (approx 3hr drive)
- Itinerary
After breakfast you depart for the Serengeti, stopping en route at Olduvai Gorge. The gorge which is about 50km long and up to 90m deep is famous as the location where humanoid remains of Australapithicus Boisei, an early form of man, were found in 1959. You also visit the small museum with copy displays of some of the finds, as well as pictures of what life was like for the gorge's earliest inhabitants.
From here, you continue into the vast Serengeti arriving at camp time for lunch. Your guide will then run through all of the fundamental "do's and don'ts" you have to consider when staying at a tented camp, before you depart on an afternoon game drive. When you return at sunset, the fire will be lit and you can enjoy a nice warm shower before settling down to a relaxing evening, taking in the night sounds of the bush.

- Days 6-7: Serengeti

The Serengeti is the jewel in the crown of Tanzania's protected areas and you have 2 more days to explore this incredible region at your leisure. Choose between morning, afternoon and full day safaris. Round off your days enjoying dinner under the African star-filled sky, while sharing stories of your exciting game experiences.
