Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is situated in the exclusive southern area of game rich Lake Manyara National Park.

This luxurious lodge is the only lodge in the park and is in a prime location for viewing the resident wildlife, sheltered by a mahogany forest and approximately a kilometre from the shore of the tranquil lake.

The majority of safari operators conduct game viewing in the northern areas of the park, so you can enjoy a quieter, more private wildlife experience in the south.

The lodge's remote location allows for leisurely tracking of the park's famous tree-climbing lions, birding safaris and undisturbed viewing of flocks of pelicans and flamingos. These vast surrounds are also home to large herds of elephant and buffalo.

A swimming pool is also available should you wish to cool off after an afternoon's game viewing and an excellent curio shop.

At Lake Manyara Tree Lodge dining is on a free-standing pan, where you dine on wholesome Pan-African cuisine. The interactive kitchen allows you to observe the chefs preparing your meals while listening to soothing voices from the choir.

Evening meals are also enjoyed in the open-air boma, the dining area, on the decks in the guest area or on the guests' private viewing decks.

For a more intimate dining experience, staff will pack a picnic lunch and sundowners for you to enjoy around the lake shore.

There are 10 luxury tree house suites, made from timber and thatched roofs and overlooking the forested boma.

The suites are decorated in understated, earthy tones creating an atmosphere that is romantic, spacious and private.

All are equipped with modern conveniences such as an outdoor shower, and full en suite bathrooms. Each suite has its own private viewing deck overlooking the forest where you can relax with a drink and observe nature from above.
