Lupita Island Lodge can be found on the secluded island of Lupita, in the southern part of Lake Tanganyika. The 14 spacious villas are hidden in a forest overlooking the lake.

Each thatched villa has high ceilings and is open-sided, offering fantastic views of the lake. The individual plunge pools are fed by a constant flow of water through your suite resembling a mountain stream.

Lupita Island Lodge is home to the rejuvenating Lupita Spa, where you will be pampered with massages, steam treatments, and herbal body wraps. There is also an on-site gym for those guests who are more active.

A large variety of water sports is on offer, should you want to remain active outdoors. Go diving in the crystal-clear water, where visibility reaches more than 20m. See hundreds of different species of fish, including species like Goliath tiger fish and Nile perch.

Lupita Island Lodge comprises 14 villas that are spaced out and slightly hidden by the forest, giving you utmost privacy. Each villa is open-sided, giving you constant views of the lake and distant mountains.

The outdoor stone bath and shower are designed to resemble natural waterfalls. Likewise, your private plunge pool is constantly filled by a stream running through your villa.
