Pole Pole Bungalow Resort is located on the scenic Mafia Island. With only 7 bungalows, this resort offers you a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff eager to make you feel comfortable.

Pole Pole, meaning "slowly, slowly”, is situated in a shady, breezy spot overlooking the ocean and the nearby islands of Chole, Juani and Jibondo. On the beach, you'll find sun beds under straw umbrellas where you can relax while trained staff give you a massage.

Included in your stay is a daily trip by boat or jeep to one of the nearby islands or beaches. These trips offer snorkelling and diving activities and also the opportunity to explore the surrounding area.

Pole Pole Bungalow Resort is situated in the Mafia Island Marine Park which is responsible for the conservation of the island's resources. The island offers some of the most beautiful coral reefs in the area, making this a popular spot for scuba diving and snorkelling

Pole Pole Bungalow Resort offers three meals daily. Enjoy these meals, consisting mostly of fresh seafood, in the atmospheric dining area.

Expect a staff member to bring sundowners and snacks around to your room at sunset, which you can enjoy on your private veranda. You can also order tea in the morning which will be served to you in your bed.

The spacious bungalows at the resort are built entirely out of wood and raised on stilts. The linen has been imported from Italy and rooms have been decorated with interesting fixtures.

The bungalows all come with wide verandas with gauzy drapes and include double wash basins and large showers
