Take an afternoon flight from either Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar to the beautiful Selous Region of Tanzania. This 4 day adventure begins in the Selous Game Reserve where, on arrival, you will be introduced to your new 'home' at the Rufiji River Camp on the banks of the Rufiji River.

After an early breakfast and morning game drive in the Selous, take an afternoon flight to the island Paradise of Zanzibar where you will be transferred to your seafront hotel, Tembo House.

Spend a day exploring the narrow alleys of Stone Town past huge intricately carved wooden doors and under overhanging balconies. Visit the old Sultan's palace or the busy bazaars where the traders still bargain frantically. Shop for souvenirs - from antiques and gemstones to flavoursome spices - or sample some of the freshest seafood in one of the towns many restaurants.

The Tembo House Hotel is situated in the heart of Stone Town of Zanzibar along the picturesque seafront. It is just half a kilometre from the harbour and is a 10 to 15 minutes' drive from the airport.

Spend a last day of leisure sight seeing or getting those last minute souvenirs before transferring to Zanzibar Airport for your onward journey or beach extension.
