Beho Beho was the first camp to be sited in the cooler highlands of The Selous, so as to enjoy the cooling breezes, from which it derives its name.

From Beho Beho it is possible to explore a unique array of varying biodiversity, from riverine forest, miombo woodland and plains to the lake regions of Tagalala and Mwanze. Beho Beho invites you to explore the splendours of one of the largest game reserves in the world on foot, by boat or by open safari vehicle.

Open-sided lounges and dining areas along with a cocktail bar provide a sophisticated setting for post safari relaxation, while the swimming pool and deck are a good place to cool off.

Beho Beho's rates are fully inclusive of all food and drink. Meals are not confined to the formal dining area, but are served in various spots throughout the camp.

There are several lookouts where breakfast and lunch are served and of course areas for dining under the stars. Bush breakfasts and picnics are also arranged for longer safaris.

Beho Beho has 8 very spacious individual Bandas (stone built and palm thatched cottages) designed to capture the cooling breeze and extending onto a large veranda with great views across The Selous wilderness.

The bandas are furnished with king-sized beds, Zanzibari day beds, writing desks and comfortable suite furniture. The banda can be secured for the night with tented curtains or left open as desired.

Each banda has a separate dressing room including a personal security safe and leading into a fully equipped en-suite bathroom with twin basins, high flush WC and an open air shower. The bathrooms are supplied with Charlotte Rhys toiletries, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and soaps as well as a hairdryer.
