Serengeti National Park » General Information » Overview

A massive expanse of raw, unfenced wilderness, the Serengeti is your chance to experience the wonder - and harsh reality - of nature in all its force.

Depending on the time of the year, and what point the annual migration is at, different action takes place in different parts of the park - the Seregenti Plains, the Seronera Valley, the Western Corridor and the far northern reaches of the Serengeti National Park all hold their own attractions. Read our guide to the migration here.

The Serengeti National Park is also connected to other incredible safari destinations such as Kenya's Masai Mara Reserve and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. There are numerous safaris that take in all of these, or that focus on just one specific area to allow you to really get to know the African wilderness.
