Located in the Serengeti Park's central region, the Seronera River Valley marks the boundary between the grassy plains of the south and the wooded hills of the north. As a result the area attracts animals and birds that belong to both habitats and the Seronera is one of the richest ecosystems in the Serengeti - and game viewing is good all year round.
Leopards are often seen in the valley and the lack of trees makes it relatively easy to spot them. The central region is also the only place from which you can enjoy a Serengeti balloon safari.
Olakira Camp - An environmentally friendly mobile camp, Olakira moves to the central grasslands from June to December. With only 6 superbly appointed tents you're assured of a very intimate and exclusive experience.
Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge - A well-established safari lodge with stunning views from its elevated position, Serengeti Serena has all the comforts and facilities of a hotel with the raw atmosphere of a bush camp.
