What better way to view the land of endless plains on a Serengeti safari than to take to the sky? From up high you can fully appreciate the magnitude of this wildlife destination.
Survey the open plains and watch the abstracted movements of animals across a bizarre and beautiful landscape. After your flight, set down in the middle of the bush and enjoy a five star champagne breakfast.
Drive into the thick of the migration and have your vehicle surrounded by thousands of wildebeest and zebra. Watch as they approach you, then split off and pass your flanks, circumnavigating your vehicle without so much as a moment's hesitation.
Sitting in the middle of the migration is a humbling and electrifying experience.

In December through March the southern Serengeti is where all the action is. The calving season sees some 8 000 babies born a day and yet only half of them will survive for longer than four months.
Predators patrol the area in their hundreds at this time, picking off weak links and pouncing on unsuspecting prey. If you don't mind seeing wild animals hunt, then this is a remarkable time to visit.
