Tracing the line of the Grumeti River, the Serengeti's Western Corridor juts out the park's side and pushes its borders all the way to Lake Victoria. The infamous giant crocodiles of Grumeti infest the river and offer one of the migration's most remarkable encounters.
Around May and June, the 40 kilometre long caravan of wildebeest, zebra and antelope arrive at the river. The crocodiles feast off the crossing millions, and give those lucky enough to witness the encounter, one of the most remarkable wildlife sightings in the world.
