Tanga Region

Tanga is one of the 26 regions of Tanzania, and is bordered to the north by Kenya, and to the East by the Indian Ocean. Previously known as the Tanga Province, this area has become significantly smaller since its rebirth, losing two districts to the Kilimanjaro Region, its northern neighbour.

The Usambara Mountains are a major attraction in this region and should not be missed
