Generally warm and humid, Zanzibar is kind to visitors seeking sunshine and light.

Wet and dry seasons characterise the islands' climate, and humidity is for the most part quite high. The main rains fall from the middle of March to the end of May, but there's also a short flirtation with the rainy season in November. The dry seasons run from December to February, and June to October.

Pemba is generally cooler that Zanzibar island and gets less rain.
