Matemwe Beach House is a fantastic luxury beach villa situated in the gorgeous Matemwe region of Zanzibar with spectacular views of the dazzling Indian Ocean & Mnemba Island, decked out in Zanzibari beach theme.

Your personal butler will ensure that your needs are looked after - helping to plan trips & activities as well as serve all meals & act as a your housekeeper.

You may enjoy walks through the luscious garden towards the pristine beach or relax by the private plunge pool after spending a day exploring Mnemba Island.

You can enjoy snorkelling, fishing in traditional boats & deep sea fishing that will take you to deep waters that are populated with various species of magnificent fish.

Adventurous activities include sea-kayaking & other water sports. Play on the fine white sands with beach bats, kites or frisbees or grab some snorkelling gear all available at the Matemwe Water Sport House (free of charge).

You may also be interested in other tours such as a Spice Tour, Historical City Tours, Shopping Tours and exploring the Jozani Forest to see the Red Colobus Monkeys and even Dolphin Excursions at Kizimkazi. You can take guided walks along the reef & trips to the local village & fish market.

For something more romantic, the 'Escape to Infinity' trip is a visit to a secluded sandbank including breakfast, brunch or lunch, a bottle of sparkling wine, snorkelling, sailing in a traditional Dhow boat and loads of time to enjoy the glorious privacy.

At Matemwe Beach House, the meals are served when you decide and there is no set menu. You will discuss with your personal chef what your daily menu will be according to suggestions, special deliveries & fish catch of the day.

The chefs prepared dishes are a fusion of traditional Zanzabari and international flavour with plenty of delicious seafood.

Matemwe Beach House can accommodate a maximum of 6 people. There are 2 double bedrooms downstairs with fantastic views and comfortable beach decor & a beautiful mezzanine floor that can sleep 2 people.

The Master Bedroom has a king-sized bed covered by a mosquito net & an en-suite bathroom with shower.

The Second Bedroom has twin beds & adjoining bathroom with shower & bath, this bathroom is shared with anyone staying on the Mezzanine Floor.

There is also a convenient bathtub for babies.
