Embracing a sense of calm and tranquility with white and cream coloured walls, interesting curves and dome shaped roofs, Kilindi's 15 pavilions are also surrounded by cascading rain-water pools, tropical gardens and private places to sit and relax.

The hotel is also focuses on sustainable resource management, with an innovative water-collection system. Overlooking the ocean in front of the main part of the hotel is the 25m swimming pool, surrounded by comfortable loungers providing an opportune sunset spot.

Kilindi has an experienced and service-oriented team, resulting in a high quality of delicious food. The head chef, Richi Tewnion, has worked with Jamie Oliver in the past and brings his knowledge and experience to each meal.

Kilindi is made up of 15 uniquely designed pavilions built to maximise light and space and offering a sense of tranquility and privacy. Each pavilion has a domed bed chamber with a stained-glass skylight.

The pavilions are spread out along the stretch of private beach and are surrounded by tumbling water features and tropical gardens.

The private baraza lounge attached to each pavilion is the perfect place to relax and take in the view.

The domes of each pavilion collects the rainwater, the sleeping areas straddle the storage and the pools around the pavilions circulate it, ensuring a creative and sustainable resource management system.

Each pavilion is architecturally beautiful, with wide sweeping curves, high roofs and pillars, all in cream and white. The decor is simple, yet luxurious, bringing in an authentic Zanzibar atmosphere.
