The Market Kitchen is a stylish restaurant that serves a wide variety of gastronomic delights from crisp salads, cured meats, fresh seafood, and delicious, savoury deserts. All the food is prepared with organic produce, and fresh locally grown items.

The A la Carte restaurant is a fine-dining experience and a 'must do' when visiting Zanzibar as you savour the Chef's 'Signature Plate' or a scrumptious South African beef steak.

The third dinning experience for you is on the The Jetty. Set out in the Indian Ocean, you can watch the sun set in the distance over the crystal clear, blue water, enjoying a succulent plate of modern Arabic cuisine and a refreshing cocktail.

After dinner, enjoy a delicious premium cognac or wine with a cigar, at the Wine Lounge and Terrace.

Experience the 'Dial a Chef' option one evening as a resident chef comes to your villa to cook up a decadent masterpiece for you to enjoy in the private.

There are 40 suites and 9 villas at the Essque Zalu Zanzibar. The suites have one bedroom with en suite bathrooms, a lounge area and outside terrace or balcony, and are either ocean front, sea view, or Garden view.

The villas are either 3 or 4 bedroom with en suite bathrooms. All have a private plunge pool, kitchen facilities, and a terrace or balcony.
